Muthoot Finance Ltd., the flagship company of The Muthoot Group was founded in 1939, by Late Shri. M. George Muthoot. The company today is India’s largest Gold Loan NBFC with a gold holding of nearly 200 tonnes showing the implicit faith and trust of crores of customers across the length and breadth of the country. 

 Listed on both BSE and NSE, the company is registered with the RBI as a Systemically Important Non-Deposit Taking NBFC. Muthoot Finance Ltd. has been serving millions of underserved and unbanked Indians to bring them under the banking network by providing them with easy and highly affordable Gold Loans giving them ready and instant access to financial credit. This has in turn led to their financial inclusion. Muthoot Finance, today, has a presence across India and abroad through its widespread network of 7000+ branches, 60% of which are located in Tier III to Tier VI cities helping us serve the unbanked masses in rural, semi-urban and urban areas of the country.
